Tallents Solicitors’ 250th Anniversary – celebrating a Quarter-Millenium in business

250 Years – a year of celebrations

2024 sees Tallents Solicitors celebrating an incredible 250 years in business as one of the oldest law firms in the UK.

The present law firm of Tallents Solicitors can trace its roots back to Tallents & Co, which was founded by Mr Philip Tallents of Newark on Trent, who was admitted as a solicitor in 1774. Today the firm has three offices in Newark, Southwell and Mansfield.

The firm has always been deeply rooted in the communities they serve and as part of our 250th Anniversary Year, we are honouring these values by giving back  to our communities throughout the year.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, our staff will be taking part in a range of activities from bake sales, fundraising and volunteering, all with the aim of helping our local communities, residents and charities.

Giving back to our communities
